Sorry to all those who follow my blog and have noticed a lack of new posts cince August.  In simple its just down to time from work and faily as been very limited.

As a major update I will post nearly all the news relating to the X05 Event in amasterdam on Xbox 360 covering all the latest games for laucnh lineup, secrets coming free on the harddrive and many othe Xbox 360 tidbits.

As expected Microsoft has just announced the Xbox 360 pricing at the Games Convention in Leipzig, Germany.  The console will come in two models, the Core System for £209.99 and the Ultimate Gamers System for £279.99.  For the full details head over to TeamXbox.com article.

On another article over at GamesIndustry.biz is quoting highly reputable sources, the Xbox 360 will launch in the UK on 25 November 2005 with price of £250.  If this is true, then Sony truly will have a problem on their hands.  As marking the PS3 into the expensive gaming console bracket may well damage sales.  However, it could be Microsoft take advantage of Sony's high end price bracket and therefore increase the Xbox 360 price to £299.

Hopefully, next week Gaming Convention in Germany will confirm once and for all the release dates and pricing of the console.

Rockstar Games is again in the press after various world oganisations have been attempting to disway them from developing there new game, Bully. Rockstar is touting the game as nothing more violent that the old child TV series, Just William back in the 1980s.

However, the UKs Bullying Online charity and various other worldwide child welfare organisation are shocked such a sensitive issue as child bullying is being used for cheap laughs and to make money.

Xbox.Ign has an interesting article today covering what games will be backwards compatible from day 1 and which will be over the coming months from the consoles launch in November 2005.

The article covers how the backwards compatibility will work and what exactly the Microsoft marketing statement of "Xbox 360 will be backward compatible with the top-selling games on Xbox". The article also points to an interview at Bit-Tech.Net with ATI Richard Huddy about how the compatibility may work on the Xbox 360.

So what games are listed, well a few from the article are; Forza Motorsport, Fable, Project Gotham Racing 2, MechAssault and MechAssault 2: Lone Wolf, RalliSport Challenge 1 and 2, Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge, Amped 1 and 2.
