Electronic Arts had just released they will be the first to show in game realtime footage of one of there next generation console titles.  The game wil be Madden NFL and to tease you, here is an in game still image from the footage, direct from EA.

The footage wil be shown on the ESPN Channel (Sky) in the NFL Draft from 5pm (UK time) on Saturday April 23.  IF you dont have Sky keep your eyes on the internet as I am sure it will be doing the rounds shortly afterwards.

Well here we go again, but this time the time and effort someone has put in really does make this convincing.  Even to the little detail of the E3 stamp in the top left, I am now just waiting with baited breath for the next Xbox 2 image pre-E3 in May.

Well it had to happen sooner or later.  With E3 (Electronics Entertainment Expo) nearly upon us, more rumours and now images are leaking regarding the next generation of consoles.

Xbox 2 (a.k.a. Xbox 360)	Playstation 3

The above images are not the first to leak, but look the most reliable as to what each console may look like.  The Xbox 2 or its most popular rumoured naming, Xbox 360 certainly fits the image.  This tied with the comments made by Steve Balmer, Xbox CEO in a recent interview certainly look to be backed up by this image.  My thought is the image is only a concept image, but make the glass, opaque or a cool plasma type effect could make the new Xbox a very cool looking console.

The Playstation 3 image, looks to be reliable alos based on current reports or a smaller design and central hub to digital media in the home.  Looking similar to a CD player on a stand but holding more processing power the next Xbox, could prove the winner again.

With this new imagery and the big announcements coming, book the E3 Show dates of 17th-20th May 2005 in your diary for the unveiling of both consoles and Nintendos new Revolution.
